In recent years, Carrie Fisher has been hilariously open about her drug use while filming the original Star Wars movies. She did a lot of cocaine—specifically during the filming of The Empire Strikes Back. It's an addiction she kicked after a life in an out of rehab and some scary close calls with overdosing. Now that she's clean, Fisher has no problem discussing her former habit, sharing her cocaine expertise with anyone who asks.
Last night, as Donald Trump sniffled his way through a series of factually inaccurate insults hurtled at his vastly more qualified opponent, Hillary Clinton, Fisher offered her insight on the source of Trump's sniffles.
One Twitter user decided to ask Fisher if the sniffles meant Trump might be on coke.
It was noticeable to me that when he was talking about something he is passionate about he would breath through his mouth, But when he was bold face lying he would take Deep breaths through his nose.

ReplyDeleteI can laugh at a lot of things regarding both candidates equally, this I struggle to laugh about. Whether you hate him or you don't, one thing that is well known about Donald Trump is that he doesn't drink and he has never touched drugs. And a lot of the reason for that is because his brother passed away of complications from alcoholism at 43 years of age and he was a drug user. It's just not funny for this reason to me. And if anyone has read President Obama's book, then they have read his passages about doing marijuana and cocaine, but avoiding heroin. Or how about Bill's infamous "I did not inhale!".

ReplyDeleteIts not coke. No way. Coke makes you euphoric and extremely #1. Honest to a fault #2. Unable to hold back not only verbal responses but also body language and involuntary body reactions, like twitching. Had it been coke he would have been sweating profusely, tritching, etc. He is in his 70's folks. Coke head? I don't think so.

Delete@Grace: I checked three different medical sites looking for the symptoms you describe. While those symptoms may indicate cocaine intoxication, it doesn't match low dose cocaine use. An occasional user may experience euphoria, confidence, extroverted behavior, restlessness... basically the same signs that Trump exhibited at the debate. His behavior does not prove that he was using Cocaine, but his behavior doesn't exclude the possibility either.
ReplyDeleteThere are very serious consequences to cocaine use. Perhaps that is one reason Trump never released his medical records. Honestly, if he has used cocaine, at any point, he's at risk for a fatal heart attack in the very near future. That said, we don't know if his cocaine use, if any, started in his 30's or his 40's or his 50's. The "grab em by the pussy" remark came when he was 59 years old... not exactly young.
ReplyDeleteWealthy, privledged and a sexually untamed lifestyle where everything is permissable and for sale. I mean, to deny the obvious. We all know that he's acted as any person with the equivelant of wings would behave. I don't judge him, until now, I only scrutinize him because he's running for POTUS. I don't like the narcissism that he displays. Its likened to many tyrants and very communist leader.

ReplyDeleteI have a hell of a lot more respect for Carrie Fisher than I EVER will for that Cheeto-faced bigot. Carrie has been in recovery for a few years, and she can see the signs, maybe better than most of us can. He is clearly either on something (coke or amphetamines), or has a raging, untreated case of clinical psychosis. Most people, on average, do NOT act like him.

ReplyDeleteShe has admitted that she used drugs and that she is now clean and sober. That experience gives her credibility in "seeing" symptoms in others. She is, however, not a physician and she doesn't have a blood test in front of her. THat's the only evidence that would validly answer the question.
