Time Magazine accused of giving Donald Trump devil horns In "Person of the Year" cover

We want to remind our readers that this "honor" goes to the most newsworthy person of the year, not the most respected. Hitler and Stalin both graced the cover in their time... Well, Time Magazine is accused of giving Donald Trump devil horns In "Person of the Year" cover. Sport some horns? Give that art director a raise!

  1. Time's "Person of the Year" features and profiles a person, a group, an idea, or an object that "for better or for worse...has done the most to influence the events of the year."

Love him or hate him, Time got this one right.

  2. I can't believe they would pick this imbecile! He acts like a child! He has used hatred to get where he is. He has divided America and done nothing to try to mend it. He has given people "in their minds" the power to commit hate crimes across that country! His ego is going to go through the roof and it was already pushing at the peak! Bad call, Times! VERY BAD CALL!!
I know you put Hitler on our cover but it doesn't make it right!

  3. People are misconstruing the purpose of the title of "person of the year". It has nothing to do with Time endorsing them, nor does it have to do with good deeds. It merely indicates who made the biggest international splash, good or bad. I'm no Trump supporter, but I doubt anyone can deny that Trump had the largest impact on global news this year. I think it's a poor choice because it just affirms his attention seeking behavior, but it's still a valid choice.

  4. Just like the election I knew it would be him! The normalizing and pandering to power and questionable credentials continues! Time picked Hitler as person of the year too...

  5. For a second there, I thought that being Time's person of the year means something good and that it was "won" by someone with praising achivements: and then I read the p of the DIVIDED states of America. And that is indeed what he is. Good choice Time. He indeed is the grossest person of the year.

  6. It's who has influenced the news agenda for better or worse. You can't deny he's certainly done that, love him or hate him.

  7. I have a collection, but this one I will throw to the trash. I don't care how much will it be worth in the future, it is plain wrong to profit from such a sinister character.

  8. I'm sure he bought this, just like he bought the election.

If you know anyone who works in print then you know that absolutely wasn't a mistake. Editors stress over every single detail that we normally overlook and the exact placement of his head perfectly under the M wasn't at all an oversight. They probably did it just to get people talking but still, it was on purpose

It's the same type face they always use....and it's either behind the persons head or over it...they did it to Obama as well then too.....(I can't seem to post the picture, but just Google pope time magazine cover and he's got horns too!). Whatever!

    1. They did the same with Obama. It's representing the fact that the United States government is and always will be ruled by devil worshipers.

  12. People are ridiculous...unless someone is totally on one side of the front cover, the "M" might appear behind you. It doesn't even look like horns, unless you want it to
